The service “Yandex. Kassa” implemented the function of paying for purchases via Telegram chatbots

The service “Yandex. Kassa” made payment for purchases even more comfortable by implementing a new option of receiving payments via Telegram chatbots.

To activate a payment bot in Telegram one needs to:

  • enter the chat @BotFather;
  • choose “Yandex. Kassa” in the section “Payments”;
  • enter the identifier “shopid” provided by the service.

If everything is done correctly, a new option will be activated automatically.

The function of paying for purchases can be added to any chatbot. A user can pay not only for goods in the Internet stores but also for concert tickets, food delivery and mobile communication. The user has to provide the card data and confirm the transaction.

Company owners have additional opportunities. They can:

  • agree on time and place of the delivery;
  • offer clients other products;
  • get the phone number;
  • notify customers about discounts and special offers.

Full instruction on how to use a payment bot in Telegram can be found in the official resource “Yandex. Money”.

The new option of paying for products became available due to the development and implementation of API Telegram with the button “Pay”. Messenger users got an opportunity to pay their bills with the help of bank cards and payment services. The messenger has nothing to do with transactions, which is why it doesn’t take any additional payments for the service.
