Russia’s Federal Tax Service launches chatbot for its users

The Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation (FTS) has integrated a chatbot to deal with taxation issues. Every citizen can use it in their online personal offices.

The head of FTS says that artificial intelligence will help people to solve a lot of issues related to taxes and fiscal management. Such an initiative has been offered as residents can not always consult tax service representatives.

Currently, accountant officers and auditors of the Federal Tax Service should explore new technologies besides their direct obligations. Well, more than 60% of FTS members are somehow engaged in the IT sector.
