Line messenger launched smart AI column akin to Amazon Echo

The South Korean company that has developed the Line messenger has announced the launch of a smart Wive device based on the artificial intelligence system called CLOVA – Cloud Virtual Assistant. The device will be designed in Amazon Echo style. The cloud voice assistant and column will enter Japanese and South Korean markets in early summer.
CLOVA is expected to communicate with users, to follow voice commands, as well as to control smart home systems and devices.
Besides, it has transpired that Line owners have recently acquired the company developing an anime-styled holographic bot. Thus, the messenger product can be even more interesting than Amazon’s analogue.
The smart voice assistant will be built in the messenger, allowing to increase the already large set of Line functions.
Let us recall, the South Korean company’s messenger allows to read books, purchase goods, translate texts, find out news, order a taxi and many other things.
