A chatbot on Facebook Messenger will choose an ideal pair of Levi's jeans

Levi's has combined efforts with Mode.ai to launch a chatbot on Facebook Messenger. The technology will help customers to find jeans suitable in terms of size, color, and style.

The bot is called Levi’s Virtual Stylist. It will ask for the required size and height of the customer that comes to the chat. Then it will choose a pair factoring in the fit, material, and color. Users can check how the model looks like using the See it Styled function, then opt to choose the item or go to the product page for additional information. All goods offered by the bot will be available as it synchronizes with the inventory data in stock.

The Virtual Assistant is available 24/7 and understands natural language, analyzes the input text to define customer needs precisely. Currently, Levi's is planning to develop an application to try on jeans.
